Flight instruction will take place at the Rescue Training Public Safety Training Center at 9 Mall Terrace, Savannah 31406.
This 16-hour workshop includes:
- One day of introduction to the commercial and public safety use of small unmanned aerial vehicles (sUAV)
- One Day of practice on simulator and hands-on flying (outdoors) Bring your UAV if you already have one.
- Including several PS developed hands-on scenario achievements and testing
- UAS Public Safety Operator certification card

The Certificate of Authorization
According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) all public entities will be required to apply for a Certificate of Authorization in order to legally fly drones. Rescue Training offers consultation and assistance through this process.
